Achalpur Municipal Council has started
Polytechnic college from session 1985-86. This Municipal Council is unique council
running Polytechnic college in Maharashtra state.
All courses are recoginised by All India Council For Technical Education,
New Delhi, Govt. of Maharashtra, Directorate of Technical Education and M.S.
Board of Technical Education.
This polytechnic is located in Tribal area
of ‘Melghat’. This institution has highly qualified and well experienced staff.
It has well equipped laboratories and workshop.

Backward class (SC,ST,VJ/NT,SBC,OBC) is given free education at this institution.
This institution is having “Book Bank” scheme under which each student is provided
